Description: Capsicum oleoresin is an oily resin obtained from the dried fruits of Capsicum annum L. After dried fruits are finely ground, capsicum oleoresin is formed with an extraction process using organic solvents.

Ingredients: Natural extract of Capsicum annum L, refined sunflower seed oil and mono & diglycerides of fatty acids.

Usage Areas: In spice seasonings, snack foods, processed meats, ethnic foods, and other food products, needing the spicy, hot characteristics of capsicum.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Appearance: A viscous reddish brown homogenous liquid, pourable at ambient temperature.

Flavor Notes: The flavor is pungent, creating a sensation of heat at the back of the throat and tongue. The aroma is typical of dried, ground hot chili.

Solubility: Soluble in vegetable oils.

Dispersibility: Disperse on a free-flowing carrier such as salt, dextrose or maltodextrin.
